ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: (CERTIFICATE IN ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE)

A candidate must satisfy any of the following minimum requirements:

Either

  1. Be a holder of South Sudan Secondary Certificate with a minimum of 60% or equivalent

OR

  1. Be a holder of IGCSE Division III

OR

  1. Be a holder of a certificate with credit pass from a recognize institution

OR

  1. Be a holder of professional Certificate in a relevant discipline from the institution recognized by the Ramciel Institute of Technology

OR

  1. Be a holder of any other qualification accepted by the Ramciel Institute of Technology as equivalent to any of the above.

IN ADDITION, CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Compulsory Subjects
English
In addition, a pass in FIVE (5) other selected subjects. (Excluding Life Orientation)

 

At least 50% in THREE fundamental subjects including English,

 

At least 60% in overall selected subjects

   
Selection Procedure:

Meeting the minimum entry requirements does not automatically guarantee acceptance. It depends on the number of clusters subjects.

A points system is used for admission to the Diploma in Business Information Technology

Applicants are selected in order of merit, based on the subject list above, on a first come first-served basis.

Applicants who meet the minimum requirements but whose overall points rating could put them at risk could still be placed on the extended curriculum programme as they would be considered under prepared and at risk of not coping with the demands of the regular programme.

The extended curriculum programme, through a purposeful and structured set of learning experiences will provide these students with the academic foundations necessary for them to succeed on the regular programme.
